We’ve finally finished our first album and we couldn’t be more proud of it. It has been a long process to get here, through global pandemics, personal challenges and lots of fun and excitement. Date to be announced soon.
The long -awaited first album (and I mean years in the making) is finally in the mastering stage and will soon be hitting the streets. We’re so excited to be nearly at the point of sharing this with you, it has been a labour of love and we’re really proud of it.
We’re delighted to announce that The Washed Up Folk Band have been booked to play the first ever Keep It Real Folk Festival in Weeley, Essex. Taking place 12-14th July 2024.
Great start to the year with a gig at the great Hadleigh folk club. A fantastic folk club, held each month in Hadleigh, Suffolk. Come down and catch our set and hear the other excellent musicians too.
Plans for the summer are shaping up with our first festival booking for the year. I can almost hear the music, smell the summer breeze and feel the sun, even though it is a cold and miserable day in January!
